Each Assistant Trip Leader in will be an integral member of our 2-3 person leadership teams as we host churches from around North America for week-long mission trips throughout the summer.
What will you do as an assistant leader?
We will set-up and prepare for each mission trip. Then we will be stay with and lead the participating teams in private mission trips throughout each location.
Responsibilities include managing ministry opportunities, ministry sites, restaurants, recreation, lodging, and transportation. Other responsibilities will include assisting the cook with meals and snacks, leading or organizing nightly meetings with worship, debriefing, prayer, ministry training and planning, along with generally guiding each group’s trip.
Our goal is to use each staff member’s strengths and interests to best serve the churches and groups we serve.

Requirements:
- Applicants are required to be a devoted Christian who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and believes that the Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God.
- Short-term missions experience is required.
- Candidates should be 19+ years old.
- Local ministry experience within your community, church, or school is necessary.
- Applicants should be selfless, ministry minded, hard working, energetic, reliable, flexible, enjoy working with people, and need to be a team player.
- Physical endurance and stamina, and is required, as this job in ministry is demanding and requires our staff to be in peak physical health.
- Candidates must be available to work either the early summer (Late May-early July) or late summer (Early July through early August) windows.
- All staff members will be required to participate in Staff Training prior to leading trips. 2-3 online sessions will take place prior to the summer, and in-person training will take place at the beginning of your 6 weeks of service.
