Missions in a Belizean Paradise

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (7/27/15) — An 11 member team from Broadway United Methodist Church, led by Rebecca O’Brien, returned to Belize for the third time with Thirst Missions.

From June 6-14, the team served in Belmopan, at the “Kings Children Home,” which is an orphanage in the Cayo District of western Belize. Many of the people speak Spanish even though English is taught in schools, and many of the people who reside in Belmopan have come from the neighboring areas of Guatemala, El Salvador and other Central American countries.
