WHY SERVE IN ALASKA? Although the scenery of Alaska displays some of the most beautiful examples of God’s creation, Alaskans are also surrounded by many challenges; alcoholism, drug addiction, suicide, and domestic violence to name just a few. And the harshness of the winter does not make anything easier. Half of the entire population lives in Anchorage and only roughly 3% of that population is Christian. As Jesus said in Matthew 9:37: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…” Anchorage is one of our main ministry locations. Local pastors need the help and encouragement of outreach-oriented mission teams working alongside their congregations. Could that be you? Pray about joining us in ministering to the people of Alaska. Click here if you would like to register or contact us to learn more about the needs and how you can register a team to help.
