Pastor and Wives Retreat on Caye Caulker

By Jason Pfingsten

Grace Baptist Church of Bakersfield, CA and Thirst Missions are glad to announce a retreat for pastors and their wives on Caye Caulker, Belize on May 19-20, 2017.  Over 100 participants are expected as we spend a short time focusing on hosting mission teams well, and then turn the majority of the retreat over to Grace Baptist to teach on the theme of relationships and purity.  As we continue to invest in Belizean pastors through providing growth opportunities we would ask that you pray for those in attendance. God is at work in Belize and we want to equip these pastors and their churches for leadership and to thrive in ministry.

Jason Pfingsten is the founder and CEO of Thirst Missions. Caye Caulker is on the short list for this favorite places in the world.

The island maintains a laid-back vibe and lives by the phrase “go slow,” which is prominently advertised across the island and humorously enforced by the local rastas if you ride your bicycle too quickly down the main street. The fact that only bicycles and golf carts are permitted on the island emphasizes the island’s laid-back attitude.
