We know that gathering funds for anything can seem daunting, but we are here to encourage you: It is doable! Here are four easy ways to fundraise. With prayer, faith, and the techniques listed below, you will have this trip paid for in no time!

Personal Contribution
Before asking others, look in the laundry room and dig through your couches to see if there are any personal funds that you can contribute to your trip. Budget and plan accordingly your personal finances to set aside an amount specifically for the trip!
Personal commitment breeds appreciation.

Plan and execute 2-3 large fundraisers
Not only does this bring in support, but it’s a good way for your whole team to participate and build a connection prior to the trip.
Here are some BIG fundraising ideas:
- Church-wide auction
- Missions Dinner
- Bake Sale
- Sports Tournament
- Movie Night
- Adopt-a-Box
- Sell T-shirts

Personal Letter
List 20-25 people outside of church and school that you are close to (this can be friends, family, neighbors, etc.). Then, create a personal letter/email telling about your trip. Highlight when you are going, how you are serving, and any personal goals that you have while on your mission trip.
Make sure you spice it up using photos of your group and of the location where you will be serving.

Mission Budget or Large Contributions
Some churches and schools set aside money every year to a missions fund in order to provide a scholarship to applicants going on a mission trip. Be sure to ask your local church or school if these funds are available to you and how you can apply.
Also, identify 2-3 people/businesses who have the ability to make a large contribution to your mission trip. Buy them coffee, bring the office donuts, and present the opportunity/need to them.
