Bringing the Gospel to Belize
Once again, we are introducing three modest ministries taking place in the villages of Belize. All three churches are seeking partners ready to share the word by reaching out to the surrounding communities. They are eager for help and prayerfully awaiting a partner. Please read their stories and consider serving in Belize.
Life Ministries, Armenia Village, Belize
Located in the heart of Belize, Armenia Village is surrounded by Mayan ruins and diverse in landscape. It is here that pastor Rene Najera has been leading Life Ministries for 14 years, while also working in agriculture to support his family. Active in the local community, the 25 person congregation already has a food ministry and hand out school supplies to kids in need. Within the church, they have a women’s and men’s ministry, prayer group, and youth group.
They would like a team to focus on:
Evangelism
VBS
Assisting with their food and school ministries
Medical ministry: specifically targeted to diabetes and eye care.
Construction: projects needed are to put a ceiling in the church, put in a kitchen in the building, put hurricane shutters on the church windows, and tile the church floor.
Family of God Church, Carmelita Village (Orange Walk)
Fidel Polanco has been the pastoring for nine years at Family of God Church, while also working in electronic repair. With around 30 regular attenders, the vision of the church is to focus on evangelism, youth, and women’s ministry.

Construction of a new roof for the church
The Belize Independent Church of God, Orange Walk Town (Orange Walk)
Pastor Ada Torres has been the pastor for five years, while maintaining her family's household. With about 30 people, this church is a fixture in the local community. Their vision is to have a well-equipped church library for the children, and maintaining the current children’s ministry, prayer ministry, youth ministry, and Bible studies.
They are looking for a team to focus on:
